Best photos of Alonnisos Island, from the beaches to the old town

If you follow my website you may already know how much I love travel photography.

In this trip I have decided, for the first time ever, to take only the mobile camera with me and leave behind my Sony A7R and A7 cameras.

If you scroll down you will see my best photos of Alonnisos Island beside some techy information that you can easily bypass if not interested.

And remember to leave a comment, I usually reply in no time.

Beside my smartphone, I had with me also a few mobile lenses to test.

Leaving the camera back at home would have obliged me to use exclusively my Samsung S9+

I had a drone too but I used it only in a couple of occasions, till it collapsed against a cliff due to a sudden gust of wind. Lucky I was insured.

Would I take exclusively the mobile in the next trips?

No, I would not.

Composition wise, I can’t see much of a difference.

However, quality-wise, the photos made with a mobile look great on the smartphone monitor, but, when I imported them on my computer I was not that impressed.

Zoom in and I could see a noticeable noise in most of them, especially when the light was not perfect.

Obviously I was super happy to not carry around the bulky cameras and lenses 🙂
