Smartphone and iPhone Photography Courses in Melbourne

I have been running smartphone and iPhone photography courses in Melbourne for the last 4 years and I enjoy it so much.

Why?

Because you can do so much with the mobile phone, it opens up a whole set of creativity.

Nowadays the small camera on the iPhone or Android Phone is so powerful, and it’s a pity we do not always use it at its full potential.

It’s a bit like having a Ferrari on a circuit but driving it at 80kmh because we do not know how to change gear.

And this is why I started this course 4 years ago, to share with you all I know about iPhone and Android photography.

What will you learn in the Smartphone and iPhone Photography Courses in Melbourne

This smartphone and iPhone photography course provides 3 hours of tuition on how to enhance your photography skills.

In this workshop you will learn :

  • Most effective hints on composition and how to use them to improve your photography
  • Take control of your camera and never leave again your smartphone to decide for you
  • The importance of lighting and some useful tricks for portraits and street photography
  • Photos enhancement with a simple mobile app

You do not need any photography background.

The workshop will be based on assignments to improve your composition, step-by-step.

It’s about improving your photography skills using a practical approach and having fun at the same time.

I will be always with you, inspiring your work and providing suggestions to enhance your photos.

I will also introduce you to a simple mobile app that will be used to enhance the picture.

When I don’t lead this workshop I run my travel photography website MEL365 where you will also find more tutorials and guides.

  1. The mobile phone photography workshop my wife and I did with Stef was fantastic. We learned so much not just about taking better photographs but also how to enhance them in the post-production phase.
Stef is a knowledgeable and patient teacher. We enjoyed the experience immensely

  2. Stefano I had a great and easy time. I was a bit scared of this workshop as I did not know what to expect. I had no clue about photography. I now have a better understanding and even better and can make better photos!! especially with a better framing

  5. Thanks so much Stef. You were able to share your knowledge in a relaxed, easy to follow manner, which made the session comfortable for beginners as well as those with a little more knowledge. The information about how to frame objects for the most effect was really invaluable.

  7. Hi there
I manage a community centre in Warburton in the Yarra Valley and I was wondering if you would be interested in coming up one Monday afternoon to teach a basic smartphone photography session to a group of 12-20 year olds?

If this is something you aren’t able to do, do you happen to know anyone that may be interested?
    Many thanks!
    Kate
