What I love of Thailand is the variety of travelling options. Do you like the beach life? Travel to Kho Pi Pi or Koh Chang. Do you love the mountains, go north to Chiang Mai for some awesome trekking. Are you more into shopping? Stay in Bangkok. Is culture what you are after? Plenty of options as the Khmer Itinerary with the Phimai Hystoirical Park the formal gate to the Thai-Cambodi

Phanom Rung is a complex of Khmer buildings, situated on top of an extinct volcano. It is a beautiful area planned by the Khmer architects with a main entrance and a very long bridge that takes visitors to the building section. It really resembles the main temple in Angkor Wat.

There are areas of Asia that are just magnificent. Ayutthaya is one of them. Formally the capital city of Siam it reached a population of almost one million people only 300 years ago, before declining to as low as the 55 thousand citizens of today. It is one of the ancient city in the world and you can walk through the lanes like in a museum. This historical park is not to be missed if in Thailand, just 2 hours drive from Bangkok.

The Michelin puppets are just everywhere in Thailand. On any bus, tuk tuk, trucks and you name it. There is a real passion, the more the better. This is for sure a unique element of distinction compared to countries, even to France LOL.

Ayutthaya was the formal capital of the Kingdom of Siam, today Thailand. It is a beautiful town listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Site list. Founded almost 700 years ago, it has an incredible history and it was one of the most populated cities in the world in the 1700, which topped at 1 Million people, before starting a slow decline (today's population is just over 50 thousand). You can spend here easily few days wondering around the ancient city, just marvellous.

Tuk tuk is one of easiest, and most fascinating, way of transportation in Bangkok. You need to experience it, if travelling to the Thai capital. They are literally everywhere. I was lucky enough in my last trip to pop into a tuk tuk depot, so many of them and such a great place to shoot few photos :D

This is the first time in my life I have experienced a similar situation. Lopburi is a famous town, north-east of Bangkok, famous for the huge monkey population living in the freedom. They are everywhere and they come to you for food and drinks. You actually have to watch out they do not steel anything from your bag. The best way to have a moment of peace is to go inside the Sam Yot temple, where the monkeys are not allowed by the security at the door. It really looks like the primates are outside the cage watching inside the humans, as it was in the famous movie Planet of the Apes

Lopburi is a unique town, north of Bangkok, where monkey are left free to move everywhere. There is a real colony of primates that walk, run and jump elbow to elbow with the people. It is an interesting place to visit, especially the Sam Yot temple, where the monks come to feed the monkeys
