Lake Tyrrell, a unique Australian salt lake

Located in the north of Victoria this lake has rarely water. Over time it became a giant salt basin due to the flow of subterranean saline water. Nowadays you may see some water during the rainy season but still very rare. An interesting place for photographers, no doubt about that. The desert and the remaining of the vegetation are for sure a popular subject
