Is Victoria out of the drought, Lake Boga

I visited this place in 2007 and I was back few weeks ago, well almost after 7 years. It was interesting to see that the life of the lake is half back to normal. I say half back because tourism is back but infrastructure are still working in progress in some cases. So too many years without water that it is fully understandable that before starting again a tourism business you think twice now. I could not in fact find the sailing club that was falling apart in my 2007 visit and some of the hotels have still not opened.

Let’s hope this is a start of a more reliable weather pattern and no more drought in the coming years, although Australia is well famous in the world for the rain, or better say for the lack of rain. Here below the two original photos in 2007 and today
