I am starting a new project called The Long Exposure Effects. It is about visual perceptions. As humans, we perceive time in part of seconds. The time exposure is limited to what our eyes can perceive. I looked around in the internet and I could not find too much info about the aperture time of our lenses, I mean our eyes. Usually we can perceive up to 25 frames per second (on average), typical frame rate for videos. I guess a good approximation is 1/25 of second, anyway for sure below 1 second.

The Long Exposure Effects projects focus on what you could perceive in case of longer exposure, as it is the case for this photo (2 seconds). Suddenly the swimmer looks naked and fully submerged, like a fish. New effects as result of longer exposure. Photo made at the Merewether Ocean Baths in Newcastle
