Many people are aware about Angkor, formal capital of the Khmer empire, now in the north of Cambodia. An incredible place dated back to the 12th century. Angkor was one of the biggest cities in the world, mostly unknown to the western world. This Sanctuary, now close to the border between Thailand and Cambodia, is part of old Khmer empire. Lovely place, with an awesome lake around that works as a perfect mirror.
