I was walking in Brunswick and I came by this really nice old London style door. The red colour was a magnet for everybody walking in that street. I forgot my camera at home, and I used my phone instead. I still remember a long time ago when the cameras on the phones were pretty bad quality. Nowadays is just amazing how they can compete with the compact camera themselves. I did not quite understand the relationship between the “No advertising material” and  “Bicycles except“. Did the owner expect a bike as advertising material? I must miss something here. I really liked the composition at the end. Very grungy.

When in Melbourne, his hometown, you will see him cycling around at sunset or sunrise looking for the best spot for a photo of this beautiful city. It is quite amazing how much photography gear he can pack on his bike :o

These stickers were distributed by a group of cyclists between 2001-2005+. They were originally specifically designed to fit at the bottom of standard parking signs with complicated time regulations.
Of course they ended up everywhere else too, on bikes, sometimes on one way or no entry signs.

That’s good to know. Thanks for the info, it’s actually a good idea….and even greater now with more car congestion….
