Daily Photo – Bangkok (Thailand) : khlongs (or klongs?) is a lovely way to see an awesome city

On my last trip in Thailand I experienced the khlongs (or klongs?), an alternative and quick way of transportation. These waterways or canals snake through the city. Long boats can transport you to so many sites, avoiding the chronic traffic. I am not talking about the river here, which is another great place to see, just small canals you hardly see. A bit smelly maybe, but worth the experience. Here in the photo is the end station, close to the Royal Pavilion and Khao San
