Daily photo – picturesque bay in VietNam
The weekend is starting and it is time to fly overseas. I like in future to dedicate the weekend for photos outside Melbourne, this could be somewhere in Victoria, but also Europe or Asia or any other continent.
Today’s photo is from a fishing town in Hue, VietNam. I loved the overall colours of the boats, the sea, the beach and finally the shell tub/buckets on the sandy area. They are used by the locals to collect the fishing nets, if I remember well, and they are quite spread through VietNam. Lovely country, lots of history, beside the infamous war with US.
This week new in MEL365.com
I have updated the HDR Broadening page. After a bit of work I was finally able to fill in this gap I had in the website. I was quite keen to work on it because HDR is sometime synonymous of fantasy pictures, which is not the case (see today’s photo processed in HDR, no Harry Potter effect there). It could be, though. This page includes some real facts about HDR as well as my thinking; it is a good starting which I will evolve. I hope you enjoy it.
New in the Facebook page
Watching pictures directly on Facebook is sometime quicker. I post every time the link on facebook of the daily photo, however the photo is reduced by FB to a small size. From now on, I have decided to post every end of the week directly on MEL365 Facebook Page all the photos of the previous 7 days. It is always nice to have a summary of the week, isn’t it
