Melbourne Daily Photo – Riding, riding, riding….another romantic night with my bike in Middle Park

My partner deserved a noir photo, a black and white photo that reminds me a bit of the romantic France, not sure why because I am actually in Middle Park.
Melbourne Daily Photo – Romantic view….with a bicycle, Yarra River

Riding, riding and riding.....what a passion...I thought this time I could give a bit of space to my partner in this Yarra sunset
The MOBILE issue – Cycling around

.....I have seen this old push bike. It remembered me a lot of the bike my old grand father gave me as a gift and I left somewhere in Rome, now of course gone. I wish I had it here, sigh
Melbourne Daily Photo – The city is going to sleep…

6pm on a working day.....this is the time when the shops start shutting down, the offices start closing and the cars start queuing up on the way to home....get a bike if you can and enjoy the freedom party...
Melbourne Daily Photo – Cycling in the night, the blue fountain

Fantastic background color for this photo. When I saw this fountain I had to stop and make a shot, it could not be missed, with a cyclist silhouette in the foreground of course.
The MOBILE issue – Ride your bike

The horse shadow over my bike. I always thought that the bike is a city reincarnation of the horse, powered by human legs. This photo is just what I was looking for. Same statement, just visual. Again, the shot was made with a mobile not far away from Melbourne
The MOBILE issue – Bicycle like horses

Horse were left outside the pub in the far west......bikes are parked outside the cafe' in Melbourne ....love it
Melbourne Daily Photo – Cycling between secular trees in the Fawkner Park

I love this park, I already mentioned that in a previous post. These secular trees are just amazing and the sun shining through the branches adds a bit of fairy tale, isn't it?
Melbourne Daily Photo – How enjoyable is a ride in Fawkner Park, South Yarra?

Fawkner Park is one of the most underrated park in Melbourne I believe. I don't know you guys, but I like it so much. More I think more I believe I am a bit partisan though, hahahahaah. Yes, it was the first park I have visited when I moved here in Melbourne. It was my first day and I had →
Australia Daily Photo – Cycling in the outback, Mungo NP

It seems and it really felt as the far west. I always love cycling, however it was hot and there was no mercy from the 4WD running on the same road. Sometime it was hard to see the road with all the dust. Arrived at the walls of China, the view paid back all the effort. I love the Australian →
Daily photo – bicycles excepted

I was walking in Brunswick and I came by this really nice old London style door. The red colour was a magnet for everybody walking in that street. I forgot my camera at home, and I used my phone instead. I still remember a long time ago when the cameras on the phones were pretty bad quality. Nowadays is just →
Unusual bikes in busy places

Ok, that's it, no more excuses to leave the wife or husband at home and go riding alone. It must be a custom made, really nice effort. Found it in a CBD lane. How could they cycled till there without being killed by a car ?? ahhahahaahah
Sport ist mort – yes, it could be…

"Ok, that's it, I have finished my daily exercise and I deserve a chocolate bar". The Ride2Bike day is dedicated to people that do not ride everyday to work I believe. It's the perfect day for everybody to understand they can commute by bike. Maybe not fit today, but keep on with the ride and tomorrow will be better. They →
Bike concierge system active in Melbourne….not quite

Bike concierge system in Melbourne, just for the Bike2Ride day in Federation Square. Would you use it on a permanent basis? Btw, I found another one in Amsterdam...just slightly bigger (on next FB post)
Melbourne Daily Photo – The blue dress, Federation Square

That's the way you need to dress for the new renting bikes in Melbourne....well, if you like blue, you may love it....Aussie fashion :D
Melbourne Daily Photo – Chinese red three wheel bike (risho), Federation Square

A nice shot from Ride2Work day. It was a fantastic opportunity to catch few nice photos around the cycling world. The shot was made in a complicated environment, lots of people around, bad light an other complicated issues...but this guy was just there, almost matching the bike style.
