It was a pity the bar was closed when I was there. What a great place to close the day with some churros on the table
The long pier is a great place for some shots. I was lucky enough the light turned to intense blue when the sun almost disappeared in the landscape
Station Pier in Port Melbourne is a great place for a photo walk. Many opportunities for some sunset pictures. Give a try if around.
I am starting loving long exposure photos. Leave the camera 30 seconds or more to take the photo and suddenly the sea looks like milk and the sky seems still moving.
What happened to the Melbourne photos? None since the 26th of December! Let's start again ...2013 with more photos, more contents, more...and more. The new photo title has to be .....GONE FISHING of course
Colorful water channel coming out in Mordialloc, a lovely little town close to Melbourne
I am still having a bit of vacation but never forgetting about the daily photo of Melbourne. What a sunset in Mordialloc, 30 minutes drive from Melbourne.
Should I start fishing....it really looks like it is getting more and more popular in Melbourne
It is spring and during the week this sailing club has so many boats in the harbour, resting before the big race on Saturday, another St.Kilda sport event not to be missed
I just love the clouds, you add the sea and a pier and the photo is half there. I like to give this foggy effect to the water with a long exposure time (30 secs). And B&W is my new photo partner, it gives such a nice final touch to some photos as this one.
It was windy, cloudy, it started raining as well. It was really a bad day but at the end I was able to have something nice out of it
After a warm week in Melbourne here is a nice photo of a couple watching the sunset in St.Kilda. Few similarities with the photo to be published tomorrow....stay tuned!!
The clouds here just add a nice sky softy touch
It does look like there is no end to this pier. We are here in Albert Park, in one of the nicest area of the Melbourne beach side
I love this train rail going deep into the sea, used to move in/out the sailing boats from St.Kilda. A long exposure had to be
Once the sunset is finished you still have few minutes of interesting light. I used that for this Port Melbourne little pier.
Just got in time for the final minutes of the sunset....well worth my rush
My partner deserved a noir photo, a black and white photo that reminds me a bit of the romantic France, not sure why because I am actually in Middle Park.
Black Rock is one of my favorite suburbs on the coast, and at about 20Km from the city, is an easy ride in a sunny day. Yesterday was raining around, but I thought the sun would break eventually through the clouds, so it did, just in time to pack everything and go back home for an hot pot of tea, it was →
This little pier in Port Melbourne is a clear inspiration for many interesting photos in the night. Lovely yellowish light, the sea action, and much more...
Does love warm you up? I think so. That day I made this photo was so cold and this couple arrived after I was setting my tripod, and you know what? They just fitted perfectly into the photo, like real models.
Another walk along my beloved pier, another fantastic sunset.....how much the Australian Government does pay for these shows? free of charge, thanks to mother nature ...I wonder when these shows will be taxed? Never? I hope so, otherwise I will get poor very soon ahahah
This is another sunset shot at Princes Pier. I was there one night to make some photos and I could feel the history in this place. Gee, how many people arrived from from overseas to start a new life, what a challenge must have been!! Congratulation to all these people that arrived here by boat.
