Grunge

Melbourne Daily Photo – Road closed in St.Kilda

StKilda_Road - Closed - grunge - placard - 20111130_14_5_6-Edit

Working was on progress to rebuild few lanes in St.Kilda. I loved the placards on the side, a bit grunge as it is most of the area. A perfect fit.

Melbourne Daily Photo – Having a coffee in Collingwood

I found this nice little grungy cafe in Collingwood which I loved. It was raining outside but inside it was so warm, that warmth coming from the hosts that re-created a little Italian-Vietnamese (the owners) patisserie called caffe la terra, well done

Australia Daily Photo – Number are still alive in this old petrol pump, Outback

Driving in the Australian desert I found this old petrol pump in a service station. It was all falling apart, but somehow the meter numbers were still there, ready for next life.......or for modelling in a photo....

Australia Daily Photo – Little old car….or man, Silverton, New South Wales

Melbourne-Daily-Photo-Blog-Broken Hill- Outback- Silverton-EasternOutback_20120407_132_3_4-2

I am not sure why but the front of this almost antique car reminds me the face of an old little man, with tired eyes, a small nose and still smiling. Can you see that as well, or am I drinking too much?

Melbourne Daily Photo – Natural frames in Smith Street, Fitzroy

Riding the bike can take you to some unusual and different photo spots. This place is a parking area above a supermarket. The walls are still there but there is no more ceiling, which helped with the light. Another sunset shot in a real grungy area.
