Melbourne Daily Photo – A graffiti corner, lovely street art under a Richmond sunset

I found this colorful ramp close to the Yarra river. It is a building planned to be demolished so enjoy it for as long as it exists. Street art is like that, it appears one day, it is forgotten the next one. Sad but true in most cases.
Melbourne Daily Photo – The formal vintage style MTC, Southbank

Yesterday I posted a night photo of the new MTC, with some unusual lines, which worked great on a photo. Today is time for the old venue which I find very interesting, with the graffiti all around. It's a pity this structure is closed down. It would be really interesting to explore the interiors.
Melbourn Daily Photo – Graffiti corner in Southbank

This is an interesting corner in Southbank. This photo almost looks like two half pictures together, isn't it? Yes, that was the ultimate goal I guess. When I saw this place, I though straight away to the post production and how I could use it to create a 2-side photo.
Melbourne Daily Photo – The secret graffiti room in Richmond

This is an amazing graffiti place in Richmond. Unfortunately the building is on the process to be crashed down to allow a multi level, super lifestyle, multi unit to be erected instead. If you like this kind of art and you are in Melbourne you should really visit it, well worth it. The map is just below the photo.
Melbourne Daily Photo – The twins are back in North Melbourne

I love so much this graffiti that I could not stop myself posting another view and composition. As opposite to the one I posted several weeks ago, I wanted to give a touch of sadness to this post-production photo. It really looks like the twins are almost crying here.
Melbourne Daily Photo – The graffiti tunnel in South Yarra

This place is not as easy to find, but that's the beauty of Urban Exploration. I just run my bike and see what's happening, what places I can find....sometime I come back home without anything interesting...sometime, well, very happy with my shots. The map location is approximative, as I could not find really an address on google. You can access →
Melbourne Daily Photo – An exciting graffiti lane in Southbank

This lane is quite amazing. I stopped here for almost an hour I believe. I always find the graffiti in the CBD lanes over-amazing, however, because of the huge popularity, photographed from every single corner and in every single way. Said that, I'm still thinking to make some photos there as well, but from a sort of different prospective....we shall →
Melbourne Daily Photo – A graffiti mine in Richmond

I was riding my bicycle along the Yarra river and I found this old building almost falling apart in Richmond. There was a big hole on one side where I could get through and from there visit the amazing place. Clearly lots of artist have spent a considerable amount of time here. I was really excited, such a lovely grungy place. I →
Melbourne Daily Photo – Frankenstein graffiti at the formal Melbourne Theatre Company

The formal MTC (Melbourne Theatre Company) is a very well hidden place, no question about. MTC has since moved to a more trendy place and location, which is for sure one site to visit for some futuristic shots. However I love the formal MTC building, clearly an old warehouse with some incredible graffiti. The all back lane is actually an open →
Melbourne Daily Photo – industry used as canvas for graffiti in Richmond

I was riding my bike back from another photo walk/ride and I found this industry, I think a chemical one, with a chimney on the background. I loved the fact that the external wall has been used as a canvas for graffiti. It will not last too long though, as they are building a multi unit block units just on →
