Waiting the Formula 1 race in Albert Park, Melbourne

It's almost there, still few hours to go. Albert Park will be at the centre of the world for two hours. Who will be the winner?
Photo of the day – Washing before prayer at the main mosque of BSB (Brunei)

The mosque in Bandar Seri Begawan is a unique attraction in Brunei, not to be missed. Everyone can have access, unless during praying time.
Photo of the day – Central Mosque in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei

Lovely and peaceful place in the capital, a small town in the center of the tiny country
Photo of the day in Melbourne – Lights on St.Paul’s cathedral nave

I highly suggest a visit to St Paul's Cathedral, opposite Flinder Station, in Federation Square. I was there in a weekday and it was almost empty, a good time to make a photo without creating any problem.
Melbourne Daily Photo – St Paul’s Cathedral in Federation square

This is an awesome cathedral right in the center of Melbourne, in Federation Square. It is an architectural wonder and one of the best preserved churches in the city. Two priests in front of the altar give the final touch to this photo. I placed my tripod only 40-50 high to have a typical kid view.
Melbourne Daily Photo – Lonely pray in St Patrick’s Cathedral

I like this photo because it gives a sense of loneliness but, at the same time, a sense of fullness with the light coming from the windows, and eventually from the sky, almost to create a link with something, or somebody, above all of us.
Melbourne Daily Photo – Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, Melbourne East

It's a short walk from the east side of Melbourne, and really worthy. The size and the peace is outstanding. It should be a must seen place if you come for a visit to Melbourne.
Melbourne Daily Photo – The Gospels in the Scot’s Church

I found quite interesting the patterns of these books in the church, one of the few quite places in the CBD, nestled between high-rise buildings, a lovely place have a break

Most probably one of the best temple we have in Melbourne, located in the area of Footscray

Daily Photo – Praying, being in a state of heightened belonging to every age

I met this old lady in the early sunrise of Kiev. She built the own altar, an high place in a park on top of Kiev, Ukraine. This is another photo that I am adding to my portfolio, soon to be published. Stay tuned!!
Melbourne Daily Photo – Dramatic Saint Patricks Cathedral

It's B&W week. This cathedral on the east side of Melbourne is really imposing. It must have been full only few days ago, on Saint Patrick Day, although probably the pubs were a bigger attraction on that day !!
Melbourne Daily Photo – Everything can happen in Fitzroy, even an aurora borealis

Did you see lately a funny guy, riding in Fitzroy, looking for something, not paying too much attention to the street rules and getting more and more crazy. That was me, speeding through the lanes to find a nice spot to make a photo of this fantastic sunset, almost an aurora borealis.
Australia Daily Photo – Back in Sydney CBD for two unusual photos

In Sydney you can always find these unusual corners. An high-tech building next to an 18th century church. It's and old and new mix which is quite stimulating for the eyes. I love it.
Melbourne Daily Photo – Amazing Children’s Centre in North Melbourne

I originally thought this building was a church. It was not. It is actually a child care centre. Beside the usage of this place, I liked the architecture which I could recognize as been used in other parts of the city. It is quite amazing how Melbourne, although being a relatively young city, has such a collection of churches. Once Australia was →
Melbourne Daily Photo – Saint Patrick’s Cathedral from a framed corner

Fantastic Cathedral in East Melbourne. I had to walk all the way around to find this little spot, lay down on the footpath and make a photo from there. There were people around that were looking at me as I was a bit mad....but hey, when you make a photo, does not matter if you get dirty, or act differently. →
