Life is complicated.....not quite so in St.Kilda. If you cannot afford a backyard or a balcony with view, why not taking your couch to the beach, awesome carpet as well.
After so many years of talks about it, finally the skate park is open for action. Great area, just meters from the sea. The sunset here is amazing, a great spot for few photos.
A new park has been opened in St.Kilda, at the Marina Triangle Reserve. More green space for everybody, how good is that!! Even better, it is mostly dedicated to the youngest part of the population with an awesome skate park. Finally the right move for St.Kilda.
Another lovely sunset in St.Kilda. The new Pavilion area, next to the Katani park, is an awesome area for sunset photography. A lovely place to seat and enjoy the last light of the day
Working was on progress to rebuild few lanes in St.Kilda. I loved the placards on the side, a bit grunge as it is most of the area. A perfect fit.
I have been attending the festival for many years but I have never seen such a crowd, all singing the Cat Empire lyrics, awesome. Unfortunately there was not much space left to even take the camera out of my bag and I decided to do a panorama photo with my mobile. The end result was quite good, much better than →
Enjoy the hot day.....even hotter tomorrow at 40degrees :D Save water, drink beer
I posted in the past a similar photo. This is on a slightly different corner which gave me more of a direction into the sun
It was windy and the clouds were moving so fast...a great photo effect
Even the boats are trembling in front of the Melbourne view !!
Should I start fishing....it really looks like it is getting more and more popular in Melbourne
How close and how far away is the city in this photo. Another lovely sunset on Melbourne
I was walking on a small pier in St.Kilda. When I stopped and checked back, wow, what a storm was coming....a quick photo and straight in a cafe ......
It is spring and during the week this sailing club has so many boats in the harbour, resting before the big race on Saturday, another St.Kilda sport event not to be missed
It is black and white, a bit of long exposure. I was not sure what could have been the end result to this shot. I quite like it at the end
I posted a similar photo last week, in landscape format. This, in portrait, one gives me more of a direction towards the sun....
It was windy, cloudy, it started raining as well. It was really a bad day but at the end I was able to have something nice out of it
After a warm week in Melbourne here is a nice photo of a couple watching the sunset in St.Kilda. Few similarities with the photo to be published tomorrow....stay tuned!!
A lovely walking path in St.Kilda can take to the best sunset in Melbourne
The St.Kilda Luna Park is full of photo spots to spend easily an afternoon ....and a night as well
I love this train rail going deep into the sea, used to move in/out the sailing boats from St.Kilda. A long exposure had to be
The Luna Park is one of my favorite spots for some action photos. It's just a pity you cannot use the tripod....not sure why
Not sure how he actually arrived here. I can't imagine riding an horse in St.Kilda Road or Beach Street. However it was there and it made a great shot today
The grungy St.Kilda in the 70s
