This bridge in South Yarra reminds me Paris a lot, very romantic, especially in the night. Black & white has to be for this shot.

I need to explore the garden more deeply. I reckon there are so many opportunities for some good photos. Any corner you want to suggest?

Melbourne Daily Photo – Mirroring the Yarra River…or the boats?

The Yarra River has been used here to mirror the surrounding....however just turn the photo upside down and suddenly it seems that the boats are on the mirror

Melbourne Daily Photo – Romantic view….with a bicycle, Yarra River

Riding, riding and riding.....what a passion...I thought this time I could give a bit of space to my partner in this Yarra sunset

Melbourne Daily Photo – Commute by boat, South Yarra

I always wondered how nice could be to commute by boat to the office, along the Yarra river. It may be cold in the morning, but what an incredible landscape on the way back home.

What I like most from the Yarra river? the bicycle paths on both side of the river. They can can take you all around the city and they are such a great day out. I took my parents cycling there and they still remember it. Suggested to everybody.

Melbourne-Daily-Photo-Blog-Bridge- Melbourne- Yarra River-SouthYarra_20120510_069-Edit_70-Edit_71-Edit-2

This bridge has quite a bit of history. It is now a busy and essential bridge which connects the north to the south of Melbourne. There used to be a punt in the early stage of the city, but the bridge technology took over

Melbourne Daily Photo – The sun is setting on the AAMI Stadium, Yarra river

Melbourne-Daily-Photo-Blog-AAMI- Bridge- Melbourne- Stadium- Yarra River-SouthYarra_20120510_080

What an evening I had few days ago. I thought about riding my bike along the Yarra, the main Melbourne river, to look for possible nice venues to take a shot. I had my camera but not the tripod. Well, the light was so amazing that I could not stop myself here and there to make some photos. I am →

Melbourne Daily Photo – Cycling between secular trees in the Fawkner Park

Melbourne-Daily-Photo-Blog-Bike--Fawkner-Park--South-Yarra--Tree-South-Yarra_20120224_49_50_51-2

I love this park, I already mentioned that in a previous post. These secular trees are just amazing and the sun shining through the branches adds a bit of fairy tale, isn't it?

Melbourne Daily Photo – How enjoyable is a ride in Fawkner Park, South Yarra?

Melbourne-Daily-Photo-Blog-Bike--Fawkner-Park--South-Yarra--Tree-South-Yarra_20120224_01

Fawkner Park is one of the most underrated park in Melbourne I believe. I don't know you guys, but I like it so much. More I think more I believe I am a bit partisan though, hahahahaah. Yes, it was the first park I have visited when I moved here in Melbourne. It was my first day and I had →

Melbourne Daily Photo – The graffiti tunnel in South Yarra

Melbourne-Daily-Photo-Blog-Graffiti--Melbourne--South-Yarra--Yarra-River-SouthYarra_20120127_88_89_90-2-2

This place is not as easy to find, but that's the beauty of Urban Exploration. I just run my bike and see what's happening, what places I can find....sometime I come back home without anything interesting...sometime, well, very happy with my shots. The map location is approximative, as I could not find really an address on google. You can access →

Melbourne Daily Photo – The Yarra River and the highway weaving into the new AAMI stadium

Melbourne-Daily-Photo-Blog-AAMI--cbd--Highway--Landscape--Melbourne--South-Yarra--Stadium--Yarra-River-SouthYarra_20120127_54

I love the AAMI stadium. It's a fantastic venue and you can really watch a match at meters from the players. I wanted to make a photo that gives a sense of direction towards the AAMI. The highway here is just perfectly located next to the Yarra river, like two siblings, heading down to the stadium and the CBD

Melbourn Daily Photo – A castle or a palace? Actually a school, in South Yarra

Melbourne-Daily-Photo-Blog-Melbourne--school--South-Yarra--Yarra-River-SouthYarra_20120127_51-2-2

This is one of my favourite schools in Melbourne. Not that I have visited many of them, but the impact of this one is quite grandeur. The fact that is on a top the hill and the Cricket court is on the bottom, it reminds me a lot of England. I have seen this place other times and in the winter →
