Waiting the Formula 1 race in Albert Park, Melbourne

It's almost there, still few hours to go. Albert Park will be at the centre of the world for two hours. Who will be the winner?
Peace before the Formula 1 race in Albert Park, Melbourne

Sunday the 17th of March starts the F1 championship and Melbourne is hosting the first race. Good luck to Mark Webber
City of Melbourne – Formula one in Melbourne

It is coming, not too far away. The Formula One circuit is almost ready for the 2013 race. It is a love or hate event. Locals and Greens are not too happy about it. I am personally not able to ride my bike through it, although there are alternatives of course. For sure Melbourne city will be on the TV →
Melbourne Daily Photo – Fishing in Albert Park

It was a cold day but the fisherman was there, at the bottom end of the pier. I went to the fish shop, easier !!
Melbourne Daily Photo – Moving clouds in Albert Park

I just love the clouds, you add the sea and a pier and the photo is half there. I like to give this foggy effect to the water with a long exposure time (30 secs). And B&W is my new photo partner, it gives such a nice final touch to some photos as this one.
Melbourne Daily Photo – Lovely sunset in Melbourne’s bay, Albert Park

The clouds here just add a nice sky softy touch
Melbourne Daily Photo – The never ending pier, Albert Park

It does look like there is no end to this pier. We are here in Albert Park, in one of the nicest area of the Melbourne beach side
Melbourne Daily Photo – Curious swans in Albert Park

There is a nice lake, just outside the Melbourne centre, with quite a number of swans. They are so used to the people that once I started making pictures they all paddled towards me to have a photo ahahhaah
Melbourne Daily Photo – Jogging at sunset time in Albert Park

What a lovely time for some sport and what a lovely place to enjoy anyhow and the sunset to light up the scene. Perfect photo spot!!
Melbourne Daily Photo – Albert Park, the swans are back, Formula 1 is gone

The swans are back, more beautiful than ever, so gorgeous than even the city in the background prostates
Melbourne Daily Photo – Dangerous place to be in the Melbourne Formula 1

This is the last one of a small series of Formula 1 related photos, promised. But how can you avoid that. I was very lucky with the sunset, lots of interesting colors between the clouds. An Aussie icon, Qantas, just in the middle. I had to wait quite a bit to avoid being in the middle of this straight like →
Melbourne Daily Photo – The Formula 1 weekend is building up in Albert Park

The storm is arriving, literally. We are just in front of the pit stop here. It's amazing to think that this stretch is so quite for 51 weeks ...not any more today. I live literally 500 meters from the park......and it's exciting. Am I a Formula 1 fan? Not really, so I am not sure where this feeling is coming from.
Melbourne Daily Photo – Build up to Formula 1….not quite, Albert Park

Today is the official start of F1 in Melbourne, you like it or not. Speed, speed, speed......that's why in previous days I rode slowly my bike through the lap. I found this interesting corner, with a bunch of quite birds....till yesterday. Stormy clouds on the horizon!! The best, or the worst, is planned for the weekend.
Daily photo – Sport or school…..skip the second

As you come out from the tunnel there is a choice. On the left side there is the cricket and AFL pitch, on the right side the school. These kids look more interested to the left side, how could I not agree with them, I was exactly the same!!
