Few weekends ago I was in Point Nepean fortress, used in WW1 and WW2 to prevent the "other side" to conquer Melbourne. The cannons were used only twice, mostly for inoffensive boats. Now just webs everywhere, the real webs, always there before The Internet monopolized this term. A lovely historical day trip from Melbourne.
