Melbourne Daily Photo – Romantic view….with a bicycle, Yarra River

Riding, riding and riding.....what a passion...I thought this time I could give a bit of space to my partner in this Yarra sunset
Melbourne Daily Photo – Ghosts in Federation Square, for real?

I made this picture in a challenging way and I quite like the end result. It gives me an idea of walking ghosts, a bit of abstract, something this blog was missing ....
Melbourne Daily Photo – Another stormy day in St.Kilda

Water used as mirror, another creative idea to highlight the stormy weather we sometime experience in Melbourne
Melbourne Daily Photo – Little pier in Port Melbourne

This little pier in Port Melbourne is a clear inspiration for many interesting photos in the night. Lovely yellowish light, the sea action, and much more...
Melbourne Daily Photo – Books at the Solstice Celebration, a night of a thousand lights, Federation Square

The steps at Federation Square were all covered with lighting books, a really nice mystic effect.
Melbourne Daily Photo – People at the Solstice Celebration, a night of a thousand lights, Federation Square

I just love this photo, it takes so much of Australia into my blog. The Australian people, the Australian fire, the Australian freedom. Am I becoming too Australian....I think so. This was at the Solstice Celebration in Federation Square. Enjoy!!
Australia Daily Photo – A walk in Werribee Gorge, Victoria

It's not too far away from Melbourne, maybe one hour drive, and it is hard to find it....but well worth it, fantastic place for a bush walk
Melbourne Daily Photo – Having a coffee in Collingwood

I found this nice little grungy cafe in Collingwood which I loved. It was raining outside but inside it was so warm, that warmth coming from the hosts that re-created a little Italian-Vietnamese (the owners) patisserie called caffe la terra, well done
Melbourne Daily Photo – The Luna Park fluid, St.Kilda

I loved this fluid effect I was able to have from the merry-go-round. The night was almost there, but still some blueish clouds on the horizon. The Luna is almost closed, harry up.
Melbourne Daily Photo – A graffiti corner, lovely street art under a Richmond sunset

I found this colorful ramp close to the Yarra river. It is a building planned to be demolished so enjoy it for as long as it exists. Street art is like that, it appears one day, it is forgotten the next one. Sad but true in most cases.
Melbourne Daily Photo – Commute by boat, South Yarra

I always wondered how nice could be to commute by boat to the office, along the Yarra river. It may be cold in the morning, but what an incredible landscape on the way back home.
Melbourne Daily Photo – Lovers on a stormy and cold sunset, St.Kilda

Does love warm you up? I think so. That day I made this photo was so cold and this couple arrived after I was setting my tripod, and you know what? They just fitted perfectly into the photo, like real models.
Melbourne Daily Photo – Golden sunset on the CBD, Melbourne

Sometime the sunset can be really as nice as gold in Melbourne. The pity is that it lasts only few minutes, but that's nature, we cannot complain, isn't it?
Australia Daily Photo – A sunny day in Phillip Island

It was only 2 months ago that I made this photo, but it seems ages ago. Such a different weather today, raining, and back then, warm and sunny. I love my sun!!
Melbourne Daily Photo – A Yarra river night view of Southbank

Riding my bicycle here and there in the night I saw this interesting Yarra view of South Bank. It's a pity that this area is pretty empty, but new bars are getting opened, so there is hope to see more action soon.
The first exhibition at Wine Lane, Melbourne CBD – Part 2

Yesterday I have posted few of the photos about my first exhibition. Here below I paste few others I liked. These photos were all made by Elyas, a friend of mine and really good photographer. Give a check to his website www.elyasezanee.blogspot.com. The exhibition is still on at the wine bar called Wine Lane. During the day the bar is called Squisito →
Melbourne Daily Photo – Laughing at the Luna Park, St.Kilda

Easy to find in these days a stormy day. Just to give a different feeling to the Luna Park in St.Kilda. I decided to come here to take few shots of the carousel, lots of action of course. Well I soon found out that a tripod cannot be used here (?safety?). So I had to change instead to hand held →
The first exhibition at Wine Lane, Melbourne CBD – Part 1

Well, it was my first exhibition that matched as well the opening of the wine bar called Wine Lane. I was pretty excited but I think it all went very well. I was even able to sell some photos, which was my first time ever. It was nice to donate the profit of this to a charity organization called Bike →
Melbourne Daily Photo – The storm is coming in St.Kilda

Yes, we have got few days of rain this year. What I like more? When the storm arrives or clears in the sunset magical hour. That may be of course the photography view, ahahahha.
Melbourne Daily Photo – The Yarra river is flowing under the Chapel Street Bridge, South Yarra

What I like most from the Yarra river? the bicycle paths on both side of the river. They can can take you all around the city and they are such a great day out. I took my parents cycling there and they still remember it. Suggested to everybody.
Melbourne Daily Photo – The light is coming down on the spire, Arts Centre Melbourne

I believe that the spire of the Arts Centre is becoming really one of Melbourne icons. It is a relatively new building, however it is such a great architecture masterpiece. Well done to the people that believed in it in the 80s.
Melbourne Daily Photo – Ipad, Ipod, tablets, phones…we still need lots of energy, Richmond

A nice sunset, a questionable landscape. The reality is that we may want to be very green however nowadays we are using more electricity than ever. Why? We have changed, beside the TV and maybe a computer we today have home theater, ipad, iphone, laptops, and so many other gadgets. No politics here, we should just take few minutes, maybe seconds, →
